We are a Global Legacy ministry seeking real intimacy with God with the goal of being
one with Him as Jesus was one with Him. (John 17:21)
Jesus only did what
His Father did and he only said what His father said. (John 5:19)
We
seek to learn to do the greater works that Jesus referred to in (John 14:12)
For
the past twelve years Mike and Serena have served in their church by cleaning the building,
mowing grass, shoveling snow, minor plumbing repairs, acting in skits, serving in a coffee house ministry, leading bible studies,
teaching adult Sunday school, assisted leading a youth group, taught on healing prayer (with youth and adults), preached sermons
to groups numbering 5-500, conducted Sunday services in the pastor’s absence, served on the board as the evangelism
chairman, directed a 40 days of purpose campaign, launched and led ministries within the church.
While Mike
and Serena have a wonderful anointing to minister together, Serena has a significant prophetic ministry calling
and gifting on her life. Serena is a Seer.
In March of 2006, Mike went to a healing and
impartation conference where Bill Johnson was one of the speakers. After hearing Bill speak and reading his book "When
Heaven invades Earth" and "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind" The vision for this ministry began
to form.
After many years attending traditional (cessationist) churches, finally there were testimonies
of miracles being done through regular Christians and not just anointed Tele-Evangelists.
In
July of 2006, the Lord spoke to Mike while reading John 17:20-21.
"My prayer is not for them alone.
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are
in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Jesus wanted us to be one with the Father as he was one with the Father.
Jesus also said that those of us that
believe in him would do what he did and even greater works than he did while He was on the earth. (John 14:12)
Jesus
left his rights and, privileges as God in heaven when he came to earth and, did miracles not, as God but, as a man in intimate
relationship with God the Father. (I did not say that Jesus was not God, only that he didn’t do miracles as God).
Philippians 2:6 (The Message)
"Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal
status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter
what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human!
Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead,
he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a
crucifixion. "
Jesus stated plainly that he only said what his Father said and that he only did what he saw
his father doing. John 5:19
He first sent his 12 disciples (Matt 10, Luke 9) out to do what he had done and then later
he sent out 72 other (Luke 10) with the same instructions.
The great commission in Matt 28:18
Then
Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Based on this
understanding, nearly three years ago, Mike and Serena launched a group initially called "Naturally Supernatural".
This group has become One with Him Ministries
The Holy Spirit manifests His power in every meeting. There
have been healings, (physical and emotional), deliverance, Angels, and supernatural smells and gold and silver dust manifesting
and demonstrating the Holy Spirit’s Presence.
The meetings begin with testimonies followed
by a time of teaching or discussion of the current material studied. The meetings end with worship/soaking and prophetic prayer
and ministry to all in attendance.
